1. Who we are
Global Process Server provides service of process, document retrieval, translation and related support to law firms, companies and individuals in the United States and abroad. Our office is at 730 Arizona Avenue, Suite 200, Santa Monica, CA 90401. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean Global Process Server.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you request a quote, place an order or contact us, we collect your name, firm or company, email address, phone number and mailing address, together with the details of the matter: the names and addresses of the people or businesses to be served, case and court details, deadlines, instructions and any documents you upload.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our server records technical data such as your IP address, browser type, pages visited and the date and time of your visit. This is used for security and to keep the site working properly.
Payment information. We do not collect card numbers on this website. Payment is handled by invoice or a secure payment link from our payment provider, which processes your card details under its own privacy policy.
3. How we use your information
We use your information to prepare quotes, carry out the services you order, send you proof of service and other results, invoice you, answer your questions and keep records required by law. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the details of your case for marketing.
4. Who we share it with
To complete a service we may need to share case details and documents with: process servers, couriers and translators who work on your matter; foreign Central Authorities, courts and officials when a request goes through the Hague Service Convention, letters rogatory or another formal route; and service providers that host our website, email and records. Each receives only what it needs for the task. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
5. Documents you upload
Files uploaded through our request forms are stored in a protected area of our server that is not publicly accessible, and are used only for the matter they were sent for.
6. Cookies and third-party services
This site uses only the cookies needed for it to work, plus any set by tools we use to measure site traffic. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.
7. How long we keep information
We keep order records, proofs of service and related correspondence for as long as needed to support the case and to meet legal, tax and professional record-keeping requirements. Quote requests that do not become orders are deleted after a reasonable period.
8. Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. California residents have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what personal information is collected and the right to request deletion; we do not sell or share personal information for advertising. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted access to stored files. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children
This website is intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
