Overview
Process Server in Andorra: How Service of Process Works
Andorra acceded to the Hague Service Convention in 2017 and usually completes requests in two to six months, according to its Hague Conference listing. The Ministry of Justice, as Central Authority, requires a translation into Catalan (Andorra's official language), Spanish, or French, along with the standard Convention formulary using the French/English or French/Spanish/English version. Notably, Andorra does not practice informal delivery under Article 5(2), so a properly translated request matters more here than in some other jurisdictions.
Who serves process
Who Can Serve Legal Documents in Andorra
Andorra is a civil-law country. The Central Authority is the International Relations and Legal Cooperation Service at the Ministry of Justice and Interior, which sends requests to the Presidency of the Batllia (the first-instance court), whose sections serve the documents.
Andorra has not objected to any Article 10 method. The Central Authority requires a Catalan, Spanish or French translation of every request, and the request must use the Convention's model form. Service is free and usually takes two to six months.
The documents most often bound for Andorra la Vella and the rest of Andorra are a statement of claim with a summons to appear, plus orders, subpoenas and other court notices. Addresses range from Andorra la Vella to Sant Julià de Lòria.

We prepare and submit the Hague request, using the correct Convention formulary, to Andorra's Ministry of Justice, taking advantage of its strong processing track record.
Catalan, Spanish, or French Translation
We prepare certified translations into Catalan, Spanish, or French — whichever fits the matter best — along with a translation of any accompanying summary as required.
Correct Formulary Preparation
Since Andorra requires the Convention's standard formulary in a specific language combination, we ensure the correct version is used from the outset to avoid rejection.
